Approvals
It is the responsibility of each mental health and allied professional to contact his/her state or professional board to obtain his/her specific continuing education requirements. The final authority for approving any continuing education program rests with the jurisdiction where the participant is licensed. Requirements vary from state to state and change regularly.

Mental Health Professionals
eLearning Essentials, provider #1123, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. eLearning Essentials maintains responsibility for each program offered on the site.

Alabama, Alaska, Alberta, Canada; Arizona, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Virgin Islands, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming. Note: Some states limit the number of hours allowed in this format. Other states (e.g. Mississippi, Missouri, and Rhode Island) do not specify whether or not internet CE is accepted. It is the responsibility of each participant to work with his/her board to determine his/her specific requirements. The New Jersey State Board of Social Work Examiners now accepts printed certificates for online courses. Please contact the board if you have any questions or if you need additional information.
eLearning Essentials, provider # 6235, is recognized by the National Board of Certified Counselors to offer continuing education credit for National Certified Counselors. eLearning Essentials adheres to NBCC Standards and maintains responsibility for the program.
eLearning Essentials, provider # RCS050601, is recognized by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage and Family Therapist Board to offer continuing professional education (CPE) for Counselors and Social Workers. eLearning Essentials adheres to the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage and Family Therapist Board guidelines and maintains responsibility for all programs. A certificate of completion should only be sent to the board if requested.
eLearning Essentials, provider # 50-8572, is recognized by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling to offer continuing education for counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists. eLearning Essentials adheres to the Florida Board's guidelines and maintains responsibility for all programs.
eLearning Essentials, provider # PCE 4004, is recognized by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences to offer continuing education for MFT and LCSW licensure requirements. eLearning Essentials adheres to the Board's requirements and maintains responsibility for all programs.
